Meenmutty Falls is located 29 km from Kalpetta in Wayanad. It is a three-tiered waterfall with a height of 300 metres. Meenmutty is a combination of Malayalam words Meen (fish) and Mutty (blocked). Meenmutty Falls can be reached through a 2 km hike through the jungle from the Wayanad-Ooty road. Meenmutty waterfalls are dangerous during rainy seasons due to high inflow.

Best time to visit: June to January, when the waterfall is in full flow. Take care on the rocks, as the falls can be dangerous after heavy rain.

The short jungle trek to Meenmutty Falls passes through dense forest and is a favourite among nature lovers. The pool at the base of the falls is a refreshing stop on a warm day, and the surrounding greenery makes it one of the most photogenic waterfalls in Wayanad.
