Homestay near meppadi located ,Soochipara Falls also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls is a three-tiered waterfall in Vellarimala, Wayanad, India. It is surrounded by deciduous, evergreen and montane forests
Soochippara waterfall also called Sentinel rock falls is 13 kilometres from Meppadi and 22 kilometres south of Kalpetta.
The drive from Meppadi is a lovely uplifting experience as the vehicle curve through mountain paths amidst tea estates and luxuriant vegetation.
Sun rays peep into mist clad valleys and scatter over leafy greens.
Wayanad puts together a statement of magnificence powerful enough to conquer all hearts.
The journey hits a temporary halt at a flat hill top where a few shops and a tourism office suddenly come into view.
After parking vehicles there, tickets to access the waterfall have to be purchased from the tourism office. The charges are nominal.
Further journey forward is a downward trek of nearly one kilometer

Kanthanpara is a quaint little waterfall in Wayanad, famous for its secluded and serene vibe.

The District Tourism Promotion Council will set up more facilities at the Kanthanpara waterfalls, an emerging tourism destination in Wayanad district, to attract more tourists.
A tourist can reach the destination after a 20-minute drive from the nearest town Meppadi through tea and coffee plantations. The waterfalls is located at two levels amid lush green bamboo gardens and natural forests.
“As the area is close to the Meppadi forest range under the South Wayanad Forest Division, the destination is a haven for different species of birds, especially Malabar gray hornbill.
Common flameback woodpecker, White cheeked barbet, and White throated kingfisher,” says B. Anand, Wayanad DTPC secretary.
